Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and techno-commercial Business Development Manager who can drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading end-to-end sales for IT software and automation solutions.
This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strategic sales capability, and leadership skills to manage clients and guide internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure for IT/software solutions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and CXOs
- Present and sell solutions such as CRM, ERP, automation tools, and custom software
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose customized solutions
- Lead client meetings, product demonstrations, and negotiations
- Manage and mentor a sales team, ensuring performance targets are achieved
- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams for seamless execution
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and reports
Requirements
- Strong techno-commercial understanding of IT/software solutions
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, CRM, ERP, HRMS, or IT services
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
- Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to understand business processes and recommend automation solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience with platforms like CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Prior experience in IT services or digital transformation companies
