Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development professional with strong experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, and new logo acquisition. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of acquiring and onboarding business partners, driving revenue growth, and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify, prospect, and acquire new business clients and strategic partners.
  2. Drive merchant acquisition and new logo acquisition initiatives across assigned territories.
  3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market mapping, networking, and outbound outreach.
  4. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account activation.
  6. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual acquisition and revenue targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. 2–8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or enterprise sales.
  2. Experience in franchise development, merchant partnerships, or channel expansion will be preferred.
  3. Prior experience with companies such as Zomato, Swiggy, Nearbuy,/Fitternity, or similar marketplace/platform businesses will be an added advantage.
  4. Strong hunting mindset with demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts and driving business growth.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Willingness to travel as required for business meetings and partner acquisition.

Preferred Industries

FoodTech, Hyperlocal Commerce, Marketplace Platforms, Franchise Consulting, SaaS, FinTech, and Consumer Internet businesses.
