Role Description :
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalandhar for a Business Development Manager – Auto Components . 1.The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities within the auto components sector, including prospecting, lead generation, and conversion.
2.The Business Development Manager will build and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, and other key stakeholders, while understanding their needs and aligning the customized solutions.
3.The position includes preparing and delivering proposals, commercial offers, and presentations, as well as negotiating terms to close deals.
4.The individual will also track market trends, analyze competition, prepare sales forecasts and reports, and collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
5. He will have to travel to different states / region every month for min. period of 12 to 15 days.
Pre - Requisite :
Strong business development and B2B sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and deal closure in the auto components or automotive sector.
Ability to build and manage long-term client relationships with OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.
Solid understanding of auto components manufacturing, supply chain.
Competence in market research, competitor analysis, and sales pipeline management using CRM or similar tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical and business concepts clearly.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with a focus on achieving sales targets and measurable outcomes.
Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively in an on-site environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in Sales or Business Development .
Prior experience in auto components, automotive, or industrial products business development is highly beneficial.
Willingness to travel as needed for client visits, industry events, and on-site meetings.
Salary: 50,000/- to 75,000/- per month TA/DA applicable as per Grade
