We build custom software, data platforms, and AI-led engineering solutions for technology companies and digital-native enterprises. With strong delivery capacity, client results are proven, and now we need a sharp hunter to build the revenue engine from the front end.
We are hiring a Business Development Manager / Asso. Director to own and drive new business. This is a pure hunter role - you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing new logos. You will not be managing existing accounts.
You must
- Have 8+ years of IT services or technology consulting sales experience
- Be in love of new logo hunting / outbound role recent 3+ years
- Have proven track record closing new business in custom software, product engineering, data engineering, cloud, or digital transformation services
- Be a believer of fat pipeline
- Have worked for US geography and open to new markets like UK/EU and comfortably manage relationships & cycles across time zones
- Be selling complex Gen AI, agentic AI and ML programs to startup, mid and large enterprises
Strong ones will
- Have experience at a mid-tier IT services firm ($25M-$100M revenue) - knows how to sell without a giant brand
- Own the dashboard with existing network of decision-makers at US technology companies
- Be comfortable closing new logos from mid-sized deals to enterprise logos
- Build a pipeline from scratch and grow services offering
You will
- Own end-to-end new business development - from cold outreach to signed contract
- Build and manage a pipeline of US/global mid-market technology and digital-native companies
- Identify the right buyer personas - Business Heads and CxOs and get in front of them
- Drive the full sales cycle: discovery, solutioning with delivery teams, proposal, negotiation, close
- Represent Fission Labs at industry events, conferences, and through your personal network
- Maintain pipeline discipline - accurate forecasting, structured follow-through, clean CRM hygiene
- Work with delivery leads to craft winning proposals and ensure smooth client handoffs post close

- Your primary experience is growing existing accounts.
- You have spent most of your career in SaaS or software product sales - we sell services, not a packaged product
- Your wins have come from a large-brand firm where the company name opened doors, not your own hustle
- You have not personally opened and closed a cold new logo in the last 2 years
