Strategic Business Development
Identify, approach, and onboard new OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers involved in automotive seating and foaming.
Develop account-specific strategies to introduce and expand the use of Aplix hook & loop fastening solutions for seating and interior applications.
Drive early-stage discussions with design, R&D, and purchasing teams of target accounts.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Achieve sales targets and business development milestones across identified regions/accounts.
Support RFQ/RFI submissions and coordinate with technical teams for costing and product feasibility.
Key Account Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders within OEMs and Tier 1 companies.
Act as the primary point of contact for commercial and technical queries.
Coordinate product trials, application development, and validation processes.
Market Intelligence & Product Positioning
Stay updated on market trends, upcoming model launches, seat architecture evolution, and material innovations in automotive seating.
Provide regular competitor insights and customer feedback to global and local product teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with internal functions including Application Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Service to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Must have existing connects with key OEM seating teams and Tier 1 suppliers (e.g., Lear, Adient, Tachi-S, Magna, etc.)
