About the Team

The Ads team at Navi is responsible for delivering personalised and contextually relevant advertisements to customers within the app. By leveraging user insights and data-driven targeting, the team ensures ads feel like a natural and helpful part of the customer journey, ultimately driving both user satisfaction and incremental revenue for the business.

About the Role

As an Associate Manager - Strategic Partnerships, you will spearhead the commercial expansion of Navi's advertising ecosystem by acquiring and cultivating relationships with key agencies and brands. You will architect a robust sales pipeline, lead strategic negotiations, and evangelise our first-party data proposition to market leaders. This role offers a pivotal platform for a relentless hunter to drive tangible revenue impact and shape the trajectory of a high-growth media business.

What We Expect From You

  • Market Strategy: You will own the go-to-market plan for your sector, identifying key decision-makers and building a robust pipeline of high-value prospects from scratch.
  • Consultative Selling: Move beyond transactional selling. You will act as a trusted advisor, utilising Navi's first-party data to craft bespoke media solutions that solve genuine business problems for your clients.
  • Strategic Partnerships: You will champion Navi within major media holding groups and direct brands, transforming us from an experimental test into a core partner on their annual media plans.
  • Commercial Leadership: You will lead high-level negotiations, structuring Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and volume deals that maximise yield whilst delivering value.
  • Product Collaboration: Act as the voice of the market. You will synthesise advertiser feedback to help our Product and Tech teams refine our ad formats and targeting capabilities.

Must Haves

  • You Come with a Network: You have 3-6 years of Ad Sales experience and established relationships at top agencies and key brands. You don't just know who to call; you know how to get the meeting.
  • You Sell Value, Not Just Space: You are a consultative seller. You don't just pitch slides—you listen to a client's business problem and structure a deal that solves it using Navi's unique data.
  • You Speak the Language of Data: You are fluent in digital advertising metrics (ROAS, Attribution, Programmatic). You can explain why First-Party Data is more valuable than generic cookies.
  • You Are a Builder: You aren't looking for a pre-made process to follow. You are excited by the ambiguity of a zero-to-one setup and want to define how this business is built.
