About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager Academic Partnerships (B2A) to lead and scale our institutional collaborations with colleges and universities.
This role is focused on building strong relationships with academic stakeholders, driving strategic partnerships, and enabling large-scale adoption of Wrench Wise programs across campuses.
This is a high-ownership, field-driven role where you will independently manage the complete partnership lifecycle from outreach to closure.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage with colleges, universities, and academic institutions
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders (HODs, placement heads, management)
Drive end-to-end partnership lifecycle: outreach meetings negotiation closure
Present Wrench Wise programs and articulate value to institutional partners
Travel frequently for on-ground meetings, campus visits, and partnership discussions
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of partnerships
Maintain a structured pipeline of institutions and track conversions
Gather insights from institutions to improve offerings and positioning
What We're Looking For
4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B/B2A roles
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to independently drive closures and meet targets
Comfortable with frequent travel to colleges and universities
Tech/engineering background is an added advantage
