Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


Job Description:

  • High-level customer engagement and
    business development role focused on driving growth of AutoChem solutions in
    Bioprocessing across the APAC region.
  • Proactively develop and advance
    opportunities, penetrate target accounts, and grow market share in
    biotechnology and bioprocess industries.
  • Collaborate closely with Account
    Managers (AMs) and Technology & Application Consultants (TACs) to develop
    and execute account penetration strategies.
  • Support customer interactions, acting
    as a subject matter expert in bioprocess applications to assess solution fit
    and expand opportunities.
  • Build strong technical understanding
    of customer processes and align AutoChem solutions to their needs.
  • Develop expertise in product
    portfolio, competitive technologies, and complementary solutions.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders,
    early adopters, biopharma companies, and academic institutions to drive
    adoption and build reference cases.
  • Work with Marketing and Market
    Development teams to create sales collateral, technical content, and training
    materials.
  • Participate in industry conferences,
    seminars, webinars, and AutoChem events to drive customer engagement.
  • Build and manage user communities via
    seminars, InfoDays, and digital content platforms.
  • Support existing customers to ensure
    success, create additional opportunities, and foster long-term relationships.
  • Create and present technical papers
    at industry events and knowledge forums.
  • Train and coach internal sales teams
    to improve capabilities in selling Bio applications.
  • Findind as well as Conducting Application
    Feasibility Testing (AFT) at customer sites in collaboration with the sales
    team.


  • What You Need to Succeed

    Minimum
    Qualification / Requirements
    :

    ·     Master's degree in Bioprocess/Biochemical
    Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related
    discipline is required; Master's or Ph.D. strongly preferred. MBA or commercial
    qualification is a plus.

    ·     Minimum 3–5 years of experience in
    bioprocessing or biopharma (R&D, process development, or manufacturing),
    with demonstrated exposure to customer-facing roles such as business
    development, technical sales, or applications support.

    ·     Solid understanding of bioprocess
    workflows, including upstream/downstream processing, scale-up, and process
    development lifecycle in industrial biotechnology or biopharma environments.

    ·     Hands-on or applied experience with
    Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and spectroscopic techniques (IR, Raman) in
    process monitoring; familiarity with particle characterization methods
    (microscopy, image analysis) preferred.

    ·     Exposure to process monitoring,
    automation, data interpretation, and model-based process understanding is
    advantageous.

    ·     Proven ability to translate technical
    concepts into customer-relevant solutions and support opportunity development
    in a commercial environment.

    ·     Strong track record of engaging and
    influencing technical stakeholders and key opinion leaders in biopharma or
    academic settings.

    ·     Experience in developing and delivering
    technical content (e.g., presentations, seminars, application notes, or
    marketing collateral) supporting solution adoption.

    ·     Excellent communication and presentation
    skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions for complex
    technologies.

    ·     High level of ownership, proactivity, and
    ability to drive opportunities independently in a cross-functional, regional
    sales environment.

    ·     Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and
    PowerPoint. (Level 1 )

    Travel Requirements:

              •Willingness and ability to travel
    domestically and internationally; 50–75% travel required.
