The Opportunity
You have spent years inside a large Indian IT services company selling annotation and data labelling contracts to US clients. You know the buyers, you know the deal structures, and you have closed the contracts. The only thing missing is a product that can actually win those deals on quality, speed, and scale — not just on margin compression.
Humyn Labs is building the largest decentralised human network for AI training and evaluation — 1M+ contributors across 60+ countries, delivering verified, high-quality training data for the world's most demanding AI labs and enterprise AI builders. We are now hiring a Sales Lead in India to bring that product to the US clients you already know.
This is a pure sales role. You will own revenue — identifying prospects, running the sales cycle, and closing contracts. The difference from your current role is simple: instead of selling on behalf of a large IT services company with its overhead, politics, and margin pressures, you will be selling a purpose-built AI data platform with a genuinely differentiated product and direct founder support.

What You'll Own
- Own the full sales cycle for Humyn Labs AI training data and annotation services with US-based clients — from prospecting and outreach through to contract close
- Leverage your existing network of US client contacts built through your time at Indian IT services companies — the buyers you have already sold annotation and data labelling work to are your first pipeline
- Identify new US prospects across AI labs, LLM startups, and MLOps platforms who need human-in-the-loop training data at scale
- Own revenue targets and pipeline discipline — forecast accurately, qualify hard, and close faster than a large IT services sales motion ever allowed you to
- Work directly with Humyn Labs founders and delivery team to scope, price, and structure deals — no layers, no approvals chain, no politics
- Provide ground-level market intelligence: what US clients are buying, how budgets are shifting, which verticals are accelerating, and where Humyn Labs should focus next
- As the India sales function grows, play a role in shaping the team behind you — this is a building role, not a maintaining one
What Makes You a Fit
Non-negotiable:
- You have worked in a sales or business development role at a large IT services or BPO company — Indian giants like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, or Infosys, or any comparable global services player — and in that role you have personally originated and closed annotation, data labelling, or AI training data contracts with US clients. This is the single filter that matters most.
- You have 2–4 years of direct, recent experience selling annotation or data labelling services — you understand how these deals are scoped, how they are priced, and what makes a US client sign
- You have a live, warm network of US-side buyers: procurement heads, AI leads, ML platform owners, or vendor managers at tech companies or AI labs who have bought or evaluated annotation work from Indian vendors
- You are a hunter — you have originated deals, not just managed accounts handed to you
Strong to have:
- Experience selling to US AI labs, LLM startups, or enterprise AI teams specifically — not just general IT services buyers
- Enough working knowledge of AI data workflows — annotation pipelines, model evaluation, human-in-the-loop processes — to hold a credible conversation with a technical buyer without needing a solutions engineer in the room
- Track record of closing 6-figure+ contracts independently — not as part of a large bid team, but as the person who drove the deal
- Prior experience or strong desire to work in an early-stage, founder-led company — you are comfortable with ambiguity and energised by ownership
- 6–12 years of total professional experience in sales or BD within the IT services or AI services sector
