Title: Business Development Lead - Retail Design and Build

Experience: 5 - 8 years (Retail Design / Design Industry)
OVERVIEW
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for converting marketing leads into business opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Leverage personal and professional networks to identify and engage potential clients.
- Work on marketing-generated leads by initiating conversations and building client relationships.
- Conduct structured conversations with clients to uncover needs and translate them into opportunities.
- Collaborate with Co-Founder and design teams to develop proposals and pitches.
- Support pricing structures, business cases, and project approaches.
- Track leads and opportunities in a structured pipeline, providing regular updates.
- Work closely with marketing, design, and delivery teams for seamless client service
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in retail expansion, store development, or business partnerships.
- Understanding how brands evaluate and select design/build partners.
- 58 years of BD or client services experience in retail design/fit-out.
- Proven track record of developing and converting opportunities
- Relationship-building and networking ability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand creative direction and translate it into opportunities.
- Commercial acumen for pricing and proposals.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM knowledge is a plus
