Verona was founded by two serial entrepreneurs Mr. Poshak Agrawal and Mr. Rahul Subramaniam, and backed by some of the biggest names in global technology, such as Mr. Michael Novogratz (ex-Fortress Investment Group, CEO of Galaxy Group Investments) & Mr. Rishi Jaitly (ex-Twitter CEO for Asia, Middle East, and Africa).

Role Brief
The Business Development Intern will support client outreach, relationship building, and market research efforts to help grow the organization's client base. Key responsibilities include engaging potential clients through calls, qualifying leads, gathering client feedback, and assisting in content creation for marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in client engagement and business strategy within a supportive, dynamic environment.
Education and Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Client Outreach & Verification Support
- Proactively reach out to individuals who download the app to welcome them and briefly introduce the platform's services and features.
- Guide users through the Level 1 and Level 2 verification process, ensuring they understand the steps clearly and feel supported throughout.
- Collect and verify required documents and any additional information needed to authenticate user profiles.
- Follow up with users who have incomplete verifications, resolve their questions, and ensure timely completion of the verification process.
- Maintain accurate records of all verification-related interactions and update internal systems accordingly.
2.Lead Management
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions with prospects.
- Update and maintain detailed records of user interactions, verification statuses, and follow-up progress on Airtable and Zoho CRM.
- Ensure all data entries are accurate, organised, and aligned with internal processes.
- Track user movement through the onboarding pipeline and flag any delays or missing information.
3.User Support
- Assist in onboarding new clients by helping them understand the process, collecting required details, and ensuring a smooth transition to the consulting team.
- Assist users who encounter challenges while using the appsuch as login issues, verification uploads, or profile access.
- Identify the nature of the issue and promptly transfer the concern to the respective technical or support team, ensuring timely resolution.

Location/Work Environment:
The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India.
- We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon. The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
