Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, motivated BDE Intern who wants hands-on experience owning parts of the business development cycle. This internship is ideal for a student or early-career candidate who wants real responsibility: you'll research potential clients (startups and emerging businesses), generate leads, interact with decision-makers, present,service offerings, and support client onboarding. You will work closely with senior BD members and the Delivery/Operations team, measurable targets, and fast learning. This internship can lead to a full-time BDE role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Identify potential clients, startups, and business opportunities through research and networking while generating leads and building a strong pipeline of prospects. Approach decision-makers, present service offerings, and close business deals, followed by onboarding new clients to ensure a smooth transition into active partnerships. Maintain long-term relationships through consistent communication and follow-ups, coordinate closely with the Delivery and Operations teams to ensure a clear understanding of client requirements, share accurate information internally for seamless project execution, and maintain transparency with timely updates between clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or any related field.
  • MBA (Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Entrepreneurship) candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Candidates from non-business backgrounds with demonstrated interest in sales/business development are also encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of B2B service-sales; enthusiasm to learn the BD cycle end-to-end.
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills (training provided).
  • Comfortable working independently on assigned targets and following through with consistent follow-ups.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple outreach threads.
  • Basic LinkedIn familiarity; an active profile or network is a plus.
  • Prior sales/BD internships or campus sales experience is an added advantage.
