Role Description Business Development Intern (On-site, Bengaluru)

This is ahands-on, performance-oriented internship, not a passive learning role.

As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the leadership and business development team toresearch markets, generate qualified leads, engage with potential clients, and support growth initiatives. You will gain real exposure to client acquisition, sales conversations, and how technology services are positioned and sold in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify relevant industries and target accounts
  • Generate leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and other channels
  • Identify businesses that genuinely require software, AI, web/mobile, or e-commerce solutions
  • Initiate conversations with prospects and understand their business requirements
  • Maintain accurate lead data, follow-ups, and notes usingCRM tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach with company offerings and strategy
  • Assist in refining outreach messaging and business development processes

  • What We're Looking For
    • Strong communication skills clear, confident, and professional (verbal & written)
    • Ability to research, analyze markets, and draw actionable insights
    • Genuine interest inbusiness development and technology services
    • Comfort speaking with business owners, managers, and decision-makers
    • Organized, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple follow-ups
    • Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and take ownership
    • Familiarity withCRM tools(HubSpot, Zoho, LeadSquared, etc.) and Microsoft Office is a plus
    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
