Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Intern role based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will support lead generation efforts by identifying potential partner institutes, employers, and stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records of outreach activities. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research on campus recruitment trends, competitor offerings, and target segments, as well as preparing basic reports and presentations for the business development team. The role involves engaging with prospective clients via calls, emails, and meetings, assisting in client relationship management, and providing timely follow-up on inquiries. The intern will also help coordinate events, webinars, and campus engagements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, marketing, and customer support to drive growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, institutes, and corporate partners.
  • Solid Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Interest or experience in Lead Generation, including prospect identification, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Proficiency with basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, email and CRM tools) and willingness to learn new platforms.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Ability to work on-site in Raurkela, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity about the recruitment and edtech space, and a strong interest in business development or sales as a career path.
