Role Description

The Business Development Intern – Government Tenders & AI will support the identification, tracking, and analysis of government tenders relevant to technology and AI-focused projects. This full-time role involves researching public sector opportunities, compiling tender requirements, and preparing summary reports and basic proposal inputs for the business development team.

The intern will assist in mapping government departments and agencies, maintaining databases of ongoing and upcoming tenders, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to align tender responses with Opvia.in's services. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring government portals, gathering and organizing data, drafting clear communications, and contributing to presentations that showcase how AI and remote talent solutions can address government needs. The intern will also help improve internal processes for tender tracking and support any special projects related to AI-driven business development.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Government Relations and the Public Sector, with the ability to navigate government processes and requirements.
• Knowledge of Local Government structures and relevant public sector ecosystems, especially in India or similar markets.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for reports, proposals, and stakeholder interactions.
• Solid Analytical Skills to research tenders, interpret eligibility criteria, and synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Comfort working in a fully remote, full-time environment with good time management and self-organization.
• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and an interest in AI and technology-driven solutions.
• Relevant academic background in business, public administration, economics, political science, or related fields (students or recent graduates are welcome).
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
