About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to support business growth initiatives through market research, lead generation, and client engagement. This role offers hands-on exposure to core business development activities in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify potential clients and new business opportunities
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Support lead generation through calls, emails, and online platforms
• Maintain client data and CRM records
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and reports
• Coordinate with internal teams for follow-ups and support
Required Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of sales and business development concepts
• Lead identification and qualification skills
• Research and analytical abilities
• Confidence in client interaction (calls, emails, meetings)
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, email tools, or CRM systems
Note: This is a 3-month unpaid internship, after which it may be converted to a stipend-based internship. Upon satisfactory performance, it can lead to a full-time on-roll position.
