Who we're looking for
We're looking for a Business Development Intern who is curious, driven, and interested in learning how sales works in a fast-growing SaaS product company.
In this role, you'll be trained on how to research markets, identify the right prospects, and handle outbound outreach to help e-commerce brands understand how BotSpace can automate sales and customer engagement using WhatsApp and AI.
You'll be the first point of contact for potential customers and will work closely with the sales team to support lead generation and early-stage conversations.
What we're looking for
- Graduate (minimum requirement)
- Strong verbal communication skills and good command of English
- Comfortable making outbound calls daily (approximately 50 calls/day)
- Interest in B2B sales, SaaS, or startups
- Comfortable using LinkedIn for prospect research and outreach
- Familiarity with sales and outreach tools such as Lemlist, Apollo, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (experience is a plus, not mandatory)
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
What you'll do
- Research target markets and identify relevant prospects
- Find and qualify leads based on defined criteria
- Reach out to prospects via LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lemlist, Apollo, HubSpot and similar tools
- Support discovery conversations by understanding basic business challenges
- Maintain accurate lead information and outreach activity in the CRM
- Work closely with the founders and sales team to understand how real B2B SaaS deals move
