Role Description The Business Development Intern – 6 Month Program – IIDL Growth Lab is a full-time, on-site role based in Dwarka. In this position, the intern supports business development activities by identifying prospective clients, generating new leads, and maintaining an updated sales pipeline. Daily tasks include conducting market and competitor research, reaching out to potential customers via calls, emails, and in-person interactions, and assisting in preparing proposals or presentations. The intern collaborates with the sales and operations teams to understand client needs, provide information about CoWorkrz services, and schedule meetings or workspace tours. The role also involves documenting customer interactions, tracking key metrics, and contributing ideas to improve outreach strategies and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to evaluate trends, customer segments, and competitor offerings.
  • Effective Communication skills to engage confidently with prospects, present solutions clearly, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and nurture potential clients across different channels.
  • Customer Service skills to respond promptly to inquiries, manage expectations, and support a positive client experience.
  • Interest in business development, sales, or startup ecosystems; prior internship or project experience in a related area is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dwarka on a full-time schedule, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM or lead-tracking tools) is preferred.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is desirable.
