Looking for Manager / Sr Manager Business development High Street & Stores for reputed retail brand based in Mumbai

Years of Exp : 10 to 12 years

Designation : Manager/Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Management: Lead end-to-end project execution from inception to completion, ensuring strategic objectives are met within established timelines

Strategic Partnership Development: Build and maintain a robust network of industry consultants, developers, and landlords to identify and secure optimal property opportunities

Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration

Business Expansion Strategy: Evaluate business requirements and drive growth initiatives through strategic property acquisition and expansion of existing retail locations

Project Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project tracking systems and provide regular updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability

Contract Negotiation & Documentation: Facilitate timely execution of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and formal agreements while ensuring compliance with organizational standards

Site Analysis & Due Diligence: Conduct thorough feasibility assessments of potential locations, evaluating both commercial viability and legal compliance factors

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Legal, Operations, Marketing, and Finance departments to ensure integrated business solutions.

Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate suitable expansion opportunities in malls across India.

Relationship Development: Build and maintain strategic business relationships to drive growth and expansion

Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate competitive rental agreements and commercials to ensure sustained business profitability

Portfolio Management: Execute timely renewals of existing retail spaces to maintain operational continuity

Store Optimization: Manage relocation and reprofile initiatives for existing stores to maximize business footprint and performance

Objective: Drive strategic retail expansion while optimizing existing store portfolio for enhanced market presence and profitability.

Property Acquisition & Documentation

  • Lead property acquisition in premium malls and high-traffic retail locations
  • Manage comprehensive documentation for store openings and reprofiles
  • Streamline workflows to accelerate store launch timelines

Project Management & Compliance

  • Execute critical expansion projects with strict timeline and documentation.
  • Oversee legal compliance for New Store Openings (NSO) and lease renewals

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strategic partnerships with mall management teams
  • Act as primary SPOC for all mall-related transactions and development activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration across legal, operations, finance, and project teams
  • Ensure seamless project execution or exit.

Strategic Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Conduct market data analysis and drive process optimization initiatives
  • Support timeline management and strategic development planning
