Business Development & Growth Lead

Years of Experience : 2-5 years

Client: Confidential Sports Venture | Backed by a Conglomerate

Budget: upto 30 LPA

The Role

This is a dual mandate : part sports commercial, part strategic innovation. You will drive revenue and growth for the sports team while contributing toInnovations arm of the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

Partnerships & Sponsorship

  • Build and manage a sponsor portfolio across auto, fitness, alcobev, fintech, and education
  • Develop a city-embedded commercial network across the NCR
  • Own the full sponsorship cycle from pitch, close, activate to renew

Academy & Community

  • Build the academy model from the ground up
  • Secure school and college partnerships to drive youth membership
  • Establish the brand in Northern India

Content & Digital

  • Build player-led content that audiences actually want to watch
  • Grow digital presence and convert it into branded revenue
  • Create sponsor-backed content series and branded integrations

Strategic Growth

  • Identify and evaluate new platform opportunities that can become 10–30% of EBITDA within 5–7 years
  • Assess build vs. acquire vs. partner decisions with rigour and speed
  • Support capital allocation thinking across business cycles

What You Bring

  • An ability to build relationships, spot opportunities, and follow through
  • Sharp commercial instincts, whether from a classroom, a side hustle, or a boardroom
  • Comfortable operating without a playbook and figuring things out on the fly
