We are seeking a dynamic Business Development (Freight Sales) professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and negotiating contracts in the freight and logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight and logistics sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients for Sea ,Ocean and Air freight
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful service delivery.
- Track and report on sales metrics and performance against targets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with experience in Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-10 years of experience in freight sales or business development within the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform strategy.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
