Business Development - Field Visit Intern

Duration: 2–6 months (Field visits)

Hours: 4–6 hours a day, 5 days a week

Stipend: ₹3,000 per month + incentives up to ₹15,000

Cities (any of the following): Jalandhar, Jaipur, Amritsar, Varanasi, Patiala, or Udaipur.

Summary

As a Business Development Intern, you will do market research, meet bakery owners in your city, reach out to them through visits, calls, and WhatsApp, pitch Bake Buddy, and bring in sales.

About the Role

Bake Buddy is a one-stop shop for bakery owners. Your work is simple- visit bakeries, connect with owners or purchase managers, understand what they buy, and help them place the same orders through us at a better price.

This role involves regular field visits. You must be based in one of these cities:

Jalandhar, Jaipur, Amritsar, Varanasi, Patiala, or Udaipur.

Exceptional performers may be offered a full-time role after the internship.

What You'll Do

• Do market research, identify issues by having in-person conversations with potential clients, eventually building relationships.
• Check and verify the data shared by the Data Analysis team.
• Call bakery owners, plan your field visits, and meet them in person.
• Build trust and understand what products they buy and at what price.
• Pitch Bake Buddy and explain how they can buy the same brands at a lower price.
• Share the right prices, deals, and offers to convert them into orders.
• Maintain strong relationships and bring in regular repeat orders.
• Keep your data sheet updated and share regular updates with the regional manager.

What We're Looking For

• Someone who is hungry to grow and earn (incentives up to ₹15,000).
• Street-smart and confident while talking to people.
• Presentable and comfortable doing in-person sales.
• Good communication in Hindi, and basic English.
• A people's person who can start conversations easily and build rapport.
• Someone who is willing to go out of their comfort zone to get things done.

Requirements

• Mobile phone, Laptop with good internet
• Any mode of transport for field visits (bike, scooty, cab, etc.)
• Willingness to visit bakeries in your city regularly

You will receive a certificate and stipend on successful completion of the internship.
