Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for Business Development Executives and Business Development Interns. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outreach to educational institutions, student communities, and corporate partners. You will generate and qualify leads, schedule and conduct meetings or demos, and maintain ongoing communication with prospects. You will support account management by tracking relationships, gathering feedback, and ensuring a positive experience for students and partners. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and program teams to refine offerings, preparing sales materials and reports, and meeting defined growth targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities.
  • Solid business and account management abilities to maintain relationships, manage pipelines, and support partner and client success.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and confident presentation abilities.
  • Interest in the education, edtech, or career development sector and an understanding of student and institutional needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms to track activities and report progress.
  • For Executive roles: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field and prior experience in sales or business development is preferred.
  • For Intern roles: Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant degree program, with a strong motivation to learn and grow in business development.
