Role Summary
The Business Development Executive (Trainee) will play a critical role in supporting Nexora's growth by identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and contributing to revenue generation. This role provides hands-on exposure to B2B SaaS sales, client engagement, and consultative solution selling within a dynamic, performance-oriented, field-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through structured outbound and inbound strategies
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and emerging trends
- Initiate and manage first-level interactions with prospects via calls, emails, and professional networks
- Understand client business requirements and align them with Nexora's solutions
- Coordinate product demonstrations, discovery meetings, and client engagements
- Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and sales documentation
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and pipeline status within CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment
- Support deal progression, follow-ups, and closure activities
- Consistently achieve assigned sales targets and performance metrics
Performance Expectations
- Achieve defined monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain expected lead-to-conversion ratios aligned with business benchmarks
- Meet daily activity metrics including outbound calls, follow-ups, and client meetings
- Demonstrate strong pipeline management and conversion efficiency

Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline
Technical & Functional Skills
- Basic understanding of SaaS-based business solutions (CRM, ERP, HRMS, etc.)
- Familiarity with sales processes, lead generation techniques, and CRM tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and presentation tools
- Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation capabilities
- Understanding of business workflows and client requirement mapping
