Role Definition :

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building and managing client relationships and promoting SFC's advanced environmental solutions including C-Tech wastewater treatment technologies. The role involves lead generation, market research, proposal development, negotiation, and successful deal closure while collaborating with internal technical and project teams. It requires strong business acumen, technical understanding, and communication skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Development / Technical Sales / Project Sales.
  • Experience in environmental engineering, wastewater treatment, solid waste systems, or related industrial solutions preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.Tech / BE in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • MBA or M.Tech (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Generate and qualify new business leads through networking, events, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support sales planning and execution strategies.
  • Prepare proposals, commercial offers, and technical presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Present solutions effectively to clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close profitable business deals.
  • Translate technical products and solutions into clear business value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM documentation.
  • Submit periodic reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
