About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist with 2+ years of inside sales and lead generation experience, preferably in U.S. markets. This role is critical to driving top-of-funnel activity, including sales prospecting, cold outreach, and appointment setting and setting up qualified meetings with decision-makers. You will work closely with the Sales Director to open new conversations, nurture leads, and build the foundation for long-term B2B sales growth.
Shift Time: 6:30PM - 3:30AM IST
Mode: Work From Office (Mon to Fri)
Location: SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, Chennai
Responsibilities
- Research and build prospect lists across target industries.
- Drive outreach through LinkedIn, email, and phone to engage decision-makers.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings that contribute to pipeline and revenue goals.
- Maintain CRM and track activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings set).
- Manage and continuously refresh your own prospect database.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and follow-up sequences.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback from conversations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or MBA preferred; 2+ years of inside sales, business development, or B2B sales experience.
- Prior experience in U.S. market (Cold calling) prospecting is essential.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
- Hands-on with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or equivalent sales prospecting tools.
- Exposure to Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Modern Workspace, Data & AI, SaaS) is a strong plus.
- Self-driven: able to manage own prospect lists and outreach.
- Resilient and curious, comfortable in a fast-paced, new-market journey.
