Founded in 2023, Vacaylabs is a hospitality-tech company dedicated to empowering vacation rental owners. We offer a comprehensive platform that gives homestays, villas, and service apartments their own white-labelled websites complete with a booking engine and integrated payment gateway.
Our mission is to help property owners reduce their dependency on OTAs (like Airbnb/Booking.com), accept direct bookings, and maximize their rental income. We are currently expanding our footprint in Kochi and looking for a passionate salesperson to drive this growth.
The Role
We are seeking an energetic and self-driven Business Development Executive to acquire new partners in the Kochi region. This is not a behind the desk job; it is a dynamic role that involves market research, on-ground field visits, giving product demos, and converting leads into paid subscriptions.
You will be the face of Vacaylabs, building relationships with property owners and helping them modernize their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and approach high-potential prospects (homestay owners, villa operators, vacation rentals) in Kochi and surrounding areas.
- Direct Sales: Generate leads through a mix of on-ground visits, networking, cold calling, and social media outreach (WhatsApp/Instagram).
- Consultative Selling: Conduct meetings with owners to understand their pain points, then pitch and demo the Vacaylabs product (Website + Booking Engine) as the solution.
- Closing & Negotiation: Handle objections confidently, negotiate subscription terms, and close deals to meet monthly onboarding targets.
- Onboarding & Support: Coordinate with the Business Operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
- Market Intelligence: Build relationships with local tourism groups and associations to create referral networks.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 03 years in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a hunger to learn are welcome to apply.
- Language: Fluency in Malayalam and English is mandatory.
- Location: Must be based in Kochi or willing to travel extensively within Kochi/Ernakulam.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skillsyou should be comfortable striking up a conversation with anyone.
- Ability to explain digital products (websites/software) to non-technical business owners.
- Resilience and the ability to handle rejection positively.
- Nice to Have: Prior experience working with OTAs (Airbnb, MakeMyTrip), hospitality management, or selling B2B services to small businesses.
