Support the VP, Business Development, SEA in identifying, screening, and prioritizing new hotel investment and management opportunities across Southeast Asia, working from a base in Singapore or Thailand.
Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, pitch materials, and proposals for prospective owners, developers, and investors, using PowerPoint and Canva.
Meet with hotel owners, developers, and investors to introduce RHG's brands, understand project requirements, and support deal progression.
Conduct project analysis and feasibility assessments, including market positioning, competitive set benchmarking, and demand/supply analysis.
Perform financial review and modelling of prospective projects, including P&L projections, fee structures, and return sensitivity analysis, using Excel.
Contribute to corporate and regional BD strategy, including market prioritization, brand positioning, and pipeline planning.
Support due diligence and coordination with Legal, Design & Construction, Operations, and Finance during deal negotiation and execution.
Organize and coordinate business development meetings, events, and conferences.
Research, compile, and maintain internal and client-facing documents, including market data, reports, presentations, deal trackers, and organisation charts, in a timely manner.
Track project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders, helping prioritize tasks and activities across urgent and long-term objectives.
Assist in coordinating regional ad-hoc projects related to development strategy across multiple departments, ensuring deadlines are met.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline records and market intelligence.
Travel across Southeast Asia as necessary to meet owners, attend conferences, and support site visits.
Qualifications
Background in business, hospitality, real estate, or asset management understanding of the hospitality industry preferred.
Proven experience in project analysis, financial modelling, or investment/asset evaluation.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver compelling materials to senior owners and investors.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), plus Canva.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and verbal skills.
Excellent communication, organisational, and administration skills, including a keen attention to detail.
Comfortable engaging directly with hotel owners, developers, and investors.
Willingness and ability to travel regionally from time to time.
