Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team. This role combines Business Development, Client Engagement, and Business Operations responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, along with the ability to support operational processes and drive business growth. Candidates with a Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related educational background are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Generate and qualify leads through research, calls, emails, and networking.
Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Present company services clearly and effectively to prospective clients.
Convert leads into business opportunities through follow-ups and relationship building.
Maintain CRM records of client interactions, follow-ups, and sales pipeline updates.
Support client onboarding and account management activities.
Business Operations
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and business documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of client requirements.
Maintain business records, trackers, and operational data.
Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Monitor task progress and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Assist management with administrative and operational activities as required.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in Sales, Business Development, Operations, or Client Management.
Experience in EdTech sales is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence in making outbound calls and engaging with clients.
Ability to work with targets, deadlines, and multiple priorities.
Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Profile
Candidates with a Finance, Accounting, Commerce, MBA (Finance), B.Com, M.Com, or related background.
Strong analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with US-based clients is an added advantage.
