As a Business Development Executive at TekJobs, your primary mission is to expand our footprint in the IT recruitment space. You will be the engine of our sales funnel—identifying high-growth tech companies, connecting with key decision-makers (HR Directors, CTOs, Talent Acquisition Leads), and pitching our portal as their primary source for top-tier IT talent.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential B2B clients through LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends to identify sectors (e.g., FinTech, AI, SaaS) with high hiring demands.
Pitching & Presentations: Conduct online demos and presentations to showcase the portal's features, such as our candidate database, AI matching, and employer branding tools.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring a high conversion rate from prospect to active partner.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to refine outreach strategies and the Product team to relay client feedback for platform improvements.
KPI Tracking: Meet or exceed monthly targets for lead acquisition, meeting bookings, and revenue generation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 1–3 years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Lead Generation (experience in HR Tech, Staffing, or SaaS is a major plus).
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to hook a lead within the first 30 seconds.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and basic knowledge of the IT job market.
Resilience: A self-starter attitude with the hunter mentality required to navigate gatekeepers and handle objections.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
