Position Overview
The Business Development Executive Domestic & International Sales will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities across Indian and global markets.
The role focuses on:
- Domestic and international client acquisition
- Distributor, channel partner, and institutional customer development
- Sales growth, market expansion, and brand representation for ITUS safety solutions and services
The position requires strong business communication skills, a structured sales approach, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across regions, industries, and cultures.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
- Generate and qualify leads through market research, industry platforms, networking, exhibitions, and outreach initiatives
- Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients and partners
- Promote ITUS safety training programs, products, and integrated safety solutions
- Achieve assigned sales targets for domestic and international business segments
Client & Partner Management
- Establish and manage relationships with domestic clients, international distributors, agents, and institutional customers
- Support distributor onboarding, channel development, and partner performance tracking
- Ensure long-term relationship building and repeat business generation
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Prepare proposals, techno-commercial offers, and quotations in coordination with internal teams
- Support export sales activities including documentation, coordination, and compliance (for international business)
- Maintain and track sales pipeline, forecasts, MIS reports, and performance metrics
- Coordinate with internal departments (Training, Products, Marine, Infra Tech) to ensure solution alignment and timely delivery
Market Intelligence & Branding
- Provide structured market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to leadership
- Support participation in domestic and international exhibitions, conferences, and business development missions
- Contribute to market expansion strategy and brand positioning
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related discipline
- 14 years of experience in:
- Domestic Sales / B2B Sales and/or
- International Sales / Export Business Development
- Exposure to client handling, distributor/channel development, or institutional sales
- Knowledge of export procedures, international trade practices, and documentation (preferred for international role)
Core Competencies
- Strong professional communication and negotiation skills in English
- Ability to handle domestic and international clients with confidence
- Cross-cultural business understanding and stakeholder management
- Structured sales approach with target and pipeline orientation
- Presentation, proposal development, and commercial negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, presentations, CRM tools, and virtual collaboration platforms
