The Opportunity

We're looking for a self-motivated Business Development Executive who thrives on hunting, closing, and owning their pipeline. This isn't a support role—you'll be the engine driving new revenue. If you're someone who wakes up thinking about leads and goes to sleep celebrating closed deals, this role is for you.

What You'll Own

Lead Generation & Closure (Your Primary Mission)

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in website & mobile app development, e-commerce, ERP, and custom CRM solutions
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting to contract signature
  • Convert prospects into long-term clients through consultative selling
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and referrals

Revenue Generation

  • Meet and exceed individual monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Drive business growth through strategic outreach to international markets (UAE, USA, UK, Europe, Australia)
  • Negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing to close high-value deals
  • Develop and execute account-based sales strategies for enterprise clients

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities in digital transformation, automation, and technology services
  • Understand client pain points across industries and position Sanpurple's solutions effectively
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in web/mobile development, ERP systems, and custom software solutions
  • Identify new verticals and geographic markets for expansion

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, C-suite executives, and stakeholders across international markets
  • Provide exceptional client service throughout the sales journey
  • Manage communication across time zones with fluency and professionalism
  • Ensure smooth handoffs to delivery teams post-sale
What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating and closing B2B deals in IT services, software development, web/mobile app development, or technology consulting
  • International Sales Experience:Mandatory experience in selling to clients in UAE, USA, UK, and other international markets
  • Domain Expertise:Must have worked in software development, IT services, SaaS, custom application development, or technology products industry
  • English Proficiency:Excellent command over English (written and verbal) with ability to communicate professionally with international clients
  • Hunter Mentality: You don't wait for leads—you create them through proactive outreach and networking
  • Communication Excellence: Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in business value terms and conduct presentations confidently
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently, setting your own goals, and driving results with minimal supervision
  • Location Commitment: Ready to work from our Hadapsar, Pune office full-time (5 days a week)

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and sales pipeline management
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, cloud technologies, and enterprise solutions
  • Ability to create compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling capabilities
  • Experience selling to SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise segments
  • Track record of working with cross-functional teams (technical, delivery, product)
  • Familiarity with international business practices, cultural nuances, contract negotiations, and time zone management
  • Experience in conducting online demos and virtual sales presentations
