Business Development Executive (IT Sales)

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing IT sales team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong career in sales, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys engaging with clients.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner, proactive in approach, has a passion for technology, and possesses a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, and networking.
  • Qualify inbound leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand requirements and present suitable IT solutions.
  • Support the sales leadership team in preparing proposals, presentations, and client follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer data in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, IT services, and product offerings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–4 years of experience in sales (preferably IT/technology sales).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive go-getter attitude with high ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated with a passion for sales and technology.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office Suite is an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
