Business Development Executive Intern

Company Description PlatypusBox is an app and game development studio focused on creating innovative products and venture solutions in augmented and virtual reality. The team consists of experienced full-stack developers who build mobile apps, websites, and backends across native and hybrid platforms. PlatypusBox specializes in developing standalone and mobile applications integrated with the latest technologies. The studio offers a dynamic environment where interns can gain exposure to cutting-edge AR/VR projects and modern development practices.

Role Description As a Business Development Executive Intern at PlatypusBox, you will support growth initiatives and help identify new business opportunities in the AR/VR and app development space. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential clients, assisting with lead generation, preparing outreach materials, and maintaining accurate records of prospects and accounts. You will collaborate with the development and marketing teams to align client needs with studio offerings, participate in meetings, and contribute to presentations and proposals. This is an internship role that is on-site in the Mohali district, providing close mentorship and hands-on experience with the business side of a tech studio.

Qualifications

• Ability to support New Business Development and Lead Generation activities, including prospect research and outreach.
• Foundational understanding of Business and Account Management to assist in nurturing client relationships and tracking opportunities.
• Strong Communication skills for engaging with potential clients, preparing emails, and contributing to presentations.
• Interest in technology, especially AR/VR, apps, and games, with willingness to learn about studio services and market trends.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Comfort working on-site in a collaborative environment and taking initiative under guidance from senior team members.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred.
