Business Development Executive (Inbound Sales)

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a high-ownership, execution-first Business Development Executive (Inbound Sales) who understands startup sales, can think on their feet, and can close conversations — not just talk.
This role is 100% in-office and requires someone who enjoys being in the middle of fast-moving conversations, real customers, and real revenue.
Must-have experience & mindset
- Work experience in sales
- (a) Particularly in startups
- (b) Not corporate or enterprise-focused
- Hands-on exposure to inbound / inside sales
- A strong hustler mindset (the ability to get things done the same day)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Strong communication skills
- Very good at articulation and clarity of thought
- Ability to understand the consumer and the context of a call
- Excellent communication in both Hindi and English
Numbers, judgment & decision-making
- Strong numerical skills
- Good judgment and lead management:
- (a) Determining which leads deserve more or less time
- (b) Knowing when to offer or withhold discounts
Relationship building
- Not just good, but great at building rapport
- Able to build trust quickly with founders, marketers, and decision-makers
Industry experience (good to have)
- Experience in sales for media or creative agencies
- (a) Selling videos, creative services, or ads
- Creative agency experience is not mandatory, but a strong plus
What you'll do at Simora
- Own and manage inbound sales leads generated through the website, demo requests, campaigns, and partnerships
- Qualify prospects deeply to understand their:
- Use case
- Team structure
- Content workflows
- Budget intent
- Decision timelines
- Lead product demos and clearly articulate Simora's value, use cases, and differentiation in a simple, outcome-driven way
- Guide prospects on how Simora fits into their existing marketing and content workflows, not just what the product does
- Drive deals forward through consistent, thoughtful follow-ups via calls and email
- Handle first-level objections around pricing, adoption, and use cases, and position solutions confidently
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for small to mid-sized deals — from first conversation to closure
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM / lead trackers for visibility and forecasting
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to share deal context and customer feedback
- Capture and share insights on:
- Buyer behavior
- Objections
- Feature gaps
- Messaging effectiveness
- Act as the voice of the customer, helping shape the product
