Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales / Business Development Executive/Manager to drive growth in the HORECA segment. The role involves on-ground sales, relationship building, and new business acquisition across hotels, restaurants, cafs, and allied food service businesses.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and onboard Hotels, Restaurants, Cafs, QSRs, and Cloud Kitchens
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and market mapping
- Pitch company products/services and close new business opportunities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, purchase managers, chefs, and decision-makers
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities
- Provide feedback to management for product and pricing improvements
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily activity reports and sales pipelines
- Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding, delivery, and support
- Ensure timely collection and documentation (if applicable)
Candidate ProfileExperience
- Executive: 13 years of field sales / business development experience
- Manager: 48+ years of HORECA / FMCG / B2B sales experience
- Prior exposure to HORECA, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or HoReCa suppliers preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Field-oriented with ability to travel extensively
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused
- Ability to understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / CRM tools is an advantage
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus)
