Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, executing lead generation campaigns, maintaining client accounts, and building relationships with key stakeholders. The role also involves strategic outreach, securing partnerships, and supporting overall business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across IT services and consulting domains
- Generate and qualify leads through multiple channels, including outbound outreach and networking
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial discussions to support deal closures
- Track sales activities, opportunities, and performance using CRM tools
- Contribute to strategic planning and business growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in new business development and lead generation, with a strong focus on freelancing and online sales channels
- Hands-on experience managing and bidding on freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com, PeoplePerHour, or similar marketplaces
- Strong understanding of proposal writing, client discovery, and closing strategies on freelancing platforms
- Proficiency in business strategy and account management to build, manage, and grow long-term client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage international clients professionally
- Analytical mindset with the ability to research market trends, evaluate client requirements, and identify high-value opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long-term client partnerships
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and manage targets effectively (including remote or hybrid work environments)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in IT services, software development, or technology consulting is a strong advantage

This is a freelance, incentive-only role. Candidates applying should be comfortable working on a per-project commission model, without a fixed salary.

- Compensation: Incentive / commission-based only
- Earnings: 15% - 20% per successfully closed project, based on project value
