Role Description The Business Development Executive – Field Sales (Entry Level) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position involves visiting prospective and existing institutional clients, presenting AstraGen's education management solutions, and supporting the end-to-end sales cycle. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting field visits, generating and qualifying leads, delivering product presentations and demos, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, following up on inquiries, and providing basic account servicing support. The executive is expected to meet assigned targets, report on market insights, and uphold AstraGen's professional and ethical standards during all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation, including prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying opportunities in the field.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear presentations, negotiations, and relationship building with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess skills in Account Management to support ongoing client relationships, follow-ups, and basic post-sales coordination.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field are preferred, along with a strong interest in sales and the education sector.
- Ability to work in the field, travel locally within Hyderabad, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets in a structured environment.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office or similar tools and comfort using CRM or sales tracking systems is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, willingness to learn, and openness to coaching and feedback to grow in a sales career.
