About the Role

Spalba is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Event Sales Professional with prior experience in Corporate Sales (ideally someone who has worked or is currently woking in hotels) to join our New Business Development team. This role is a hybrid of strategic outbound hunting and high-velocity inbound conversion. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within top-tier organizations, securing empanelments, and managing the end-to-end sales funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business Development (Outbound)

  • Identify and target top-tier MNCs and large organizations for event empanelment and annual contracts.
  • Execute strategic outbound campaigns (Cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, Networking) to secure briefs for flagship events.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.

2. Inbound Lead Management

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads 
  • Conduct initial QC calls to assess budget, intent, and relevance.
  • Lead Credentials Showcases and demonstrations to position Spalba as the preferred event partner.

3. Pipeline & CRM Hygiene

  • Maintain 100% CRM accuracy, tracking every stage of the lead lifecycle.
  • Manage follow-up cadences for unresponsive leads to ensure zero lead leakage.
  • Provide weekly reports on conversion rates, pipeline health, and market feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in Corporate Sales in hotels/ hospitality industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of end-to-end event logistics, production, and corporate branding.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and virtual presentation.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation and storytelling skills; ability to command a room (or a Zoom call) with mid-to-senior stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A Self-Starter who can work independently as an IC but collaborate effectively with the execution team.
