About the Role

Spalba is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Event Sales Professional to join our New Business Development team. This role is a hybrid of strategic outbound hunting and high-velocity inbound conversion. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within top-tier organizations, securing empanelments, and managing the end-to-end sales funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business Development (Outbound)
  • Identify and target top-tier MNCs and large organizations for event empanelment and annual contracts.
  • Execute strategic outbound campaigns (Cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, Networking) to secure briefs for flagship events.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
2. Inbound Lead Management
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads 
  • Conduct initial QC calls to assess budget, intent, and relevance.
  • Lead Credentials Showcases and demonstrations to position Spalba as the preferred event partner.
3. Pipeline & CRM Hygiene
  • Maintain 100% CRM accuracy, tracking every stage of the lead lifecycle.
  • Manage follow-up cadences for unresponsive leads to ensure zero lead leakage.
  • Provide weekly reports on conversion rates, pipeline health, and market feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in Sales or Business Development specifically within the Event Management or MICE industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of end-to-end event logistics, production, and corporate branding.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and virtual presentation.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation and storytelling skills; ability to command a room (or a Zoom call) with mid-to-senior stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A Self-Starter who can work independently as an IC but collaborate effectively with the execution team.
