Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Business Development Executive. In this role, the individual will identify and build relationships with prospective clients, including students, universities, and corporate partners. Responsibilities include generating new business opportunities, conducting market research, developing strategies for client acquisition, and driving partnerships with educational institutions. The role also involves regularly meeting sales targets, creating proposals, and representing the company at relevant events and conferences. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction is a key component of the position.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and client acquisition skills, with experience in lead generation, relationship building, and sales strategy
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to attract and engage potential partners and clients
• Analytical thinking and market research capabilities to identify growth opportunities
• Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital platforms for business development initiatives
• Understanding of the education sector, especially higher education and skill development programs, is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are an advantage
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and passionate about the educational and professional development industry
