About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven, and market-oriented Business Development Executive cum Stock Market Trader to join our team in association with Angel One.

This hybrid role combines active stock market trading and technical analysis with strategic business development, client acquisition, and relationship management. The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for financial markets, active exposure to trading, and the interpersonal drive to engage prospective clients, conduct in-person consultations, and expand our market presence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Active Trading & Technical Analysis: Execute and monitor trades across equity and derivatives segments, utilize technical indicators and chart patterns to identify high-probability setups, and manage market exposure effectively.

• Business Development & Client Acquisition: Identify, connect with, and onboard high-net-worth individuals, investors, and clients for wealth management and stock trading products and services.

• Client Meetings & On-Site Visits: Conduct in-person consultations, conduct pitch meetings, and travel locally across Chennai to present trading strategies and investment solutions.

• Market Insights & Research: Track real-time market movements, sector trends, macro news, and key benchmark indices (Nifty, Bank Nifty) to formulate practical trade ideas and daily updates.

• Relationship & Portfolio Management: Maintain long-term relationships with clients, guide them through market cycles, address strategy queries, and ensure ongoing retention.

• Lead Generation & Campaign Execution: Utilize direct calls, digital channels, networking, and industry referrals to build a consistent pipeline of prospective clients.

• Compliance & Advisory Ethics: Adhere strictly to Angel One regulatory standards, SEBI guidelines, and company compliance protocols across all trading activities and client interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Fluency in Tamil is mandatory (ability to converse fluently with local investors and clients).

• 2–4 years of experience in stock trading, equity & derivatives markets, sub-broking, or financial services business development.

• Proven trading proficiency: Hands-on experience with trading platforms, technical analysis, risk management, and order execution.

• Strong understanding of stock market products, derivatives (Futures & Options), and broader financial concepts.

• Willingness to perform field visits and travel locally for client meets as required.

• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills in both Tamil and English.

• Certifications: NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) or relevant NISM certifications will be a strong advantage.
