Job Title: Business Development Executive – College Outreach (EdTech)

Location: Chennai (Field-based | Remote work with periodic in-person meetings)

Experience: Minimum 3 years (EdTech / Training Institutes / College Outreach)

About the Role:

We are looking for a field-driven Business Development Executive to build and manage college partnerships in Chennai. The role focuses on securing seminar opportunities, establishing relationships with colleges, and driving student enrollments for MBA entrance preparation (CAT/XAT/SNAP/CMAT/MAT/TANCET).

This is a high-ownership, performance-oriented role suited for candidates who are comfortable with independent field work and direct institutional engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. College Outreach & Relationship Building

• Identify and visit colleges across Chennai on a daily basis
• Connect with Placement Officers, HODs, and faculty members
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

2. Seminar & Workshop Acquisition (Primary KPI)

• Secure permissions for conducting seminars/workshops in colleges
• Schedule and coordinate sessions in alignment with internal team
• Ensure continuity of engagement with repeat colleges

3. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management

• Build and maintain a database of colleges and contacts
• Generate qualified student leads through campus activities
• Use platforms like LinkedIn and other sources for contact discovery

4. On-ground Execution

• Coordinate logistics for seminars (venue, timing, student turnout)
• Work with campus student coordinators/ambassadors
• Ensure strong participation in all sessions

5. Reporting & Follow-ups

• Maintain daily activity reports (visits, meetings, outcomes)
• Follow up with colleges for repeat sessions and deeper engagement

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in EdTech college outreach or training institutes
• Strong familiarity with Chennai college ecosystem
• Ability to independently plan and execute field visits
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil
• Comfortable with remote working and self-management
