Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with strong strong sales background with knowledge of cloud and infrastructure services. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in B2B IT sales, lead generation, client acquisition, account management, and complete sales cycle ownership.
The candidate will be responsible for selling cloud and infrastructure solutions, generating new business opportunities, engaging with decision-makers, coordinating with technical and presales teams,negotiating deals, and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities
• Identify and generate new business opportunities
• Sell cloud and infrastructure services including cloud migration, cloud managed services, cloud consulting, data center solutions, server, storage, networking, backup, disaster recovery, virtualization, and managed infrastructure support.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting, lead qualification, client meetings, negotiation, closure, and account management.
• Conduct onsite client meetings, presentations, business discussions, and solution-based sales pitches.
• Engage with IT Managers, CIOs, CTOs, procurement teams, business heads, and key decision-makers.
• Understand customer business requirements and coordinate with presales, solution architects, and technical teams to propose suitable cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial documents, and sales reports.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates, sales pipeline, follow-ups, opportunity status, and revenue forecasts.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements in cloud and infrastructure services.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT sales, business development, account management, or solution sales.
• Experience selling to enterprise, mid-market, public sector, or private sector customers .
• Proven experience in selling cloud and infrastructure services.
• Experience in selling any of the following:
• IT infrastructure services -Server, storage, virtualization and networking solutions
• Data center solutions – DC & DR
• Cloud migration & Managed IT services
• AWS, Azure,Google Cloud solutions
• Strong experience in B2B sales and corporate client handling.
• Existing network of corporate clients, IT decision-makers, CIOs, CTOs, IT managers, and procurement teams.
• Basic understanding of cloud pricing, infrastructure sizing, managed services, and solution-based selling.
• Experience in lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Attend onsite meetings and manage field sales activities
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
