Job Description

We're looking for a Business Development Executive with 1–3 years of experience in sales, brand partnerships. PLEASE READ THIS JOB DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING.

This role is about much more than chasing numbers. It's about opening doors, building meaningful relationships, understanding brands deeply, and creating partnerships that drive long-term growth.

You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, reaching out to decision-makers, pitching Zyra Collective's services, and working closely with internal teams to convert conversations into successful campaigns.

This is NOT a passive account management role. We're looking for someone who's hungry, proactive, commercially sharp, and genuinely enjoys the art of selling - But even more importantly, someone who believes great business is built through authentic relationships with brand POCs, agency partners, internal team and the people behind them.

● What You'll Be Doing

* Prospecting and identifying brands that are a strong fit for Zyra Collective's influencer marketing services.

* Researching and connecting with Brand Managers, Influencer leads, Marketing Managers, CMOs, Founders, Digital marketing leads, and other decision-makers across industries.

* Building high-quality lead lists through research, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, industry events, and outbound prospecting.

* Conducting intentional outreach through cold emails, LinkedIn messages, calls, WhatsApp, and networking. We value thoughtful personalization over mass copy-paste templates.

* Booking meetings/calls, understanding client objectives, qualifying opportunities, and moving prospects through the sales pipeline.

* Leading sales conversations, negotiating commercials, handling objections, and closing new business.

* Creating tailored proposals and presentations in collaboration with internal strategy and campaign teams.

* Building long-term relationships that turn one-off projects into recurring partnerships.

* Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing client accounts.

* Maintaining an organized sales pipeline, CRM updates, follow-up schedules, and revenue forecasts.

* Staying updated on industry trends, brand launches, social media movements, and the evolving creator economy to uncover new business opportunities.

● What We're Looking For (Experience)

* 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, brand partnerships, client acquisition, within the influencer marketing space.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client-facing conversations.

* Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

* You genuinely enjoy connecting with new people and building relationships. Whether it's through a cold call, LinkedIn message, email, networking event, or coffee chat, you know how to break the ice, create trust, nurture connections, and turn conversations into long-term brand partnerships. People don't feel like they're being sold to, they feel like they're talking to someone who truly understands their goals.

* Understanding of digital marketing, influencer marketing, and social media ecosystems.

* Experience preparing proposals, decks, and commercial discussions.

* Existing relationships with brands, agencies, founders, or marketing professionals are a strong advantage.

You don't wait for inbound leads to land in your inbox. You proactively create opportunities, track them meticulously, and keep momentum alive.

• You're commercially minded

You naturally think about revenue, margins, repeat business, referrals, and long-term account growth.

• You take ownership

If something needs to happen, you make it happen. You don't wait for constant reminders or hand-holding.
