We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive the origination of rating business for mid and large corporate groups. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth while ensuring operational efficiency and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Origination & Client Acquisition
- Develop and expand the rating business within the assigned region.
- Identify and acquire new clients, focusing on migrating unrated clients to the rated domain for fundraising opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, banks, financial institutions, and merchant bankers.
Client Relationship & Market Expansion
- Manage existing client relationships, addressing challenges, and providing customized solutions.
- Organize knowledge-sharing events with key stakeholders, including corporate clients and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely completion of client commitments, overcoming information unavailability challenges from clients, bankers, and internal teams.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets through strategic business development initiatives.
- Track and enhance sales performance, CRM updates, and MIS reporting for operational efficiency.
- Monitor competitive intelligence, industry trends, and business growth across various states.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong sales and business development experience within BFSI or credit rating industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting, CRM tools, and sales analytics.
- Good understanding of debt markets, financial instruments, and rating products.
- Strong grasp of credit rating methodologies, structured finance, and capital markets.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple client engagements effectively.
