Job Description

About Bistrochat

Bistrochat is a cutting-edge restaurant management platform designed to help dining venues automate customer support, streamline bookings, and enhance guest engagement. We are looking for a high-energy, autonomous sales professional to spearhead our expansion into the Indian market.

The Role

We aren't looking for a typical 9-to-5 employee. We need a hunter—someone who understands the pulse of the Indian restaurant industry and can operate with total independence. Your primary mission is to identify high-potential restaurants, get past the gatekeepers, and pitch the value of Bistrochat to owners and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Mapping: Identify and prioritize a pipeline of potential restaurant partners (fine dining, casual dining, and restaurant groups) across your designated territory.
  • End-to-End Sales: Own the entire sales cycle—from cold-calling and door-to-door pitching to product demonstrations and closing the deal.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term trust with restaurant owners and F&B managers to ensure smooth onboarding and high retention.
  • Autonomous Growth: Manage your own schedule, targets, and outreach strategy without needing daily hand-holding.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as the eyes and ears on the ground, providing insights on local market trends and competitor activity to help refine our product for India.

Mandatory Requirements

  • F&B DNA: At least 2 years of professional experience specifically in the F&B industry within a sales or business development capacity.
  • Proven Track Record: You have experience selling products or services to restaurants (this could be SaaS, tech platforms, food supplies, or beverage distribution).
  • Autonomy: A self-starter mindset. You are comfortable working remotely and can drive results with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and at least one local regional language. You must be able to pitch convincingly to both a busy chef and a corporate owner.
  • Network: An existing network of contacts within the Indian restaurant industry is a massive plus.

Why Join Us

  • High Autonomy: We trust you to run your territory like your own business.
  • Impact: You will be the face of Bistrochat in India, directly influencing our growth in one of the world's most vibrant dining markets.
  • Competitive Incentives: A base salary with a strong commission structure that rewards high performance.
