Role Description
We are hiring a Business Development Executive (BDE) – Printers Vertical for our Chennai office. This is a great opportunity for proactive and driven professionals who are passionate about sales, business growth, and innovative technology solutions. The role involves supporting sales and market expansion for our advanced concrete 3D printing systems by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads through cold calling and market outreach, managing client relationships, driving sales pipelines, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills who are excited to work at the intersection of construction and cutting-edge automation technology are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors
- Generate and qualify leads through market research, outreach, and networking initiatives
- Drive sales of 3D construction printers and related solutions/services
- Manage and support the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and technical presentations for clients
- Work towards achieving assigned sales targets and contributing to overall revenue goals
2. Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and government stakeholders
- Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits to showcase technology capabilities
- Understand client requirements and propose customized 3D printing solutions aligned with their needs.
3. Market Development and Assessment
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, segments, and geographies
- Monitor market trends, track competitor activity, and identify potential growth opportunities
- Support expansion into new markets and client categories
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure effective solution alignment and execution
- Support pilot projects, trials, and client onboarding processes
5. Reporting & CRM
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline and CRM systems regularly
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights
6. Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles
- Strong interest in construction technology and automation
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
7. Preferred Skills
- Exposure to construction, real estate, or industrial equipment sales
- Active participation in college teams such as Car Racing or Robotics (exposure to procurement, vendor management, and technical coordination).
- Basic understanding of technical/engineering concepts
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
