About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to strengthen our corporate partnerships and placement opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with companies, generating placement opportunities, coordinating recruitment drives, and ensuring successful student placements. The role requires strong communication, relationship management, and business development skills. 

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential employers for internships, live projects, and placement opportunities. 

• Develop and maintain relationships with HR professionals, recruiters, and corporate decision-makers. 

• Generate leads through Company visits, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and referrals. 

• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective hiring partners. 

• Coordinate placement activities. 

• Maintain a database of corporate contacts, hiring requirements, and placement records. 

• Track placement targets, recruiter engagement, and conversion metrics. 

• Collaborate with training, academic, and placement teams to improve employability outcomes. 

• Prepare reports on employer outreach, placement statistics, and business development activities. 

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities. 

• Good negotiation and persuasion skills. 

• Knowledge of recruitment processes and corporate hiring practices. 

• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools. 

• Ability to work independently and achieve targets. 

• Strong networking and follow-up skills. 

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field. 

• MBA (Marketing/HR) preferred. 

Preferred Experience

• Experience in placement services, EdTech, recruitment, staffing, training institutes, or corporate relations. 

• Freshers with excellent communication and business development aptitude may also apply.

• Number of new corporate partnerships established. 

• Placement and internship opportunities generated. 

• Employer retention and repeat hiring partnerships. 

• Achievement of monthly and quarterly placement targets.
