Academik AI is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and business expansion across our AI-powered education platform and services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Pitch AI-based education solutions, courses, and platforms
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Client Engagament

  • Understand client requirements (students, colleges, institutions)
  • Conduct demos, presentations, and consultation discussions
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends in ed-tech and AI learning space
  • Identify new growth opportunities and target segments
  • Support go-to-market strategies and outreach campaigns

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing and delivery teams
  • Support proposal creation and pricing discussions
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Ensure smooth handover post deal closure

Skills & Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in business development or sales
  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C sales processes
  • Experience in ed-tech, SaaS, or AI solutions is preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Exposure to education sector or student-focused sales is an advantage
